Ray Bradbury
Fahrenheit 451:

Fahrenheit 451 is a story that takes place in another time; not necessarily in the past, not necessarily in the future. It is centered around the theme of censorship, especially of books. Everything, except books, is fireproof. The main character, Guy Montag, is a fireman; that is, he sets books on fire. He joins a secret society when he realizes the importance of books. When war breaks out, destroying cities, this underground society memorizes books. It lets us know the extreme dangers of censorship, and what could happen in the future if people are afraid to write what is on their minds and instead write what isn't sensored
The Martian Chronicles:

In this book, people of earth leave to Mars to escape what they thought were evils on Earth. The Martians, however, weren't immune to the diseases brought by the Earthlings, and thence died. Bradbury tries to tell us to venture forward carefully and with concern for what harm advancements might hold.
