TOBIAS WOLFF
Tobias Wolff was the author of the book, "In Pharaoh's Army". Tobias Wolff was in the Vietnam War. He was one of those people who were not drafted, but actually join the army. - In Pharoah's Army: The Write Stuff-This is about Tobias Wolff and his experience in Vietnam. Wolff isn't a conscript -- he actually decides to volunteer to join the army. However, in the field with the South Vietnamese troops, Wolff realises his size and his whiteness make him a very distinct target and paranoia sets in.
- Pat Hoy's Vietnam Books: They Died for Nothing, Did They Not?-This site is about Tobias Wolff and what actually happens when he comes back from Vietnam. Tobias talks about how he locked himself away from the rest of society when he got back. The site also explains that it was not only him who was going through this process. That there were many soldiers experiencing the same things he was. The site also argues the amount of truth in Tobias Wolff book compared to what really happened.
