Current Political Issues in the US with Vietnam

Our Topic and Information

Our topic was current political issues in the US with Vietnam. During our search for information in the web, we came upon letters to the President, accounts of meetings between US congressmen and Vietnamese organizations, information about military involvement in the Vietnam war, human rights issues in Vietnam, and criticism of the Vietnamese government. The main issues, discussed in most pages, were human rights, trading status, and POW. The arguments were that the Vietnamese government did not respect human rights, and the US government should enforce human rights and make them release American POW in exchange for trading and MFN status.
