from Brecht's Galileo
In scene 12, Virginia(Galileo's daughter), Federzoni, Andrea, and the little monk (all friends of Galileo) are awaiting for the news of his recantation. The female figure is supposed to represent Virginia and all the toy solidiers (sorry, it is not because I lack creativity but Alice has no "people" graphics) are supposed to represent his friends. The cloudy sky in ther back is supposed to reflect the mood of this scene. This animation portrays the reaction of his daughter and his friends after they hear that Galileo has recanted. As their motion and gestures show, they are not happy.
