This animation is related to this passage from Galileo for it acts it out precisely. At first it starts out with Galileo all alone and feeling very gloomy: Shaking his head and stamping his feet. A young monk comes to Galileo, and Galileo shows him his telescope. The monk is impressed, shakes Galileo's hand and leaves. Galileo then exits.
