Synthesis
Mastery Workshops are designed to teach the basic skills necessary for successful completion of the Masteries. These workshops are available to every student in grades 7-12. The workshops run six to eight weeks, one period per week. Each student has one period per week assigned on his or her schedule for this purpose. This creates approximately 60 sections that must be taught each school year.
The Mastery Workshops are also open to any faculty members who wish to attend them. This addresses the need for inservice training in basic computer skills for those faculty expressing an interest. Faculty are not required to take the Mastery Workshops.
