Horace Mann School
Do you ever wonder what the chemical formula of your favorite household appliance is? Have you ever pondered the flat-line structure of shampoo? What about the true function of Gore-Tex? And what the heck is Erythromycin Opthalmic?
What is the meaning of life? That one's a bit more complicated, but if you're here for organic molecules, then welcome to AHOM: The Archive of Household Organic Molecules.

AHOM is the collaborative effort of all Chemistry students at Horace Mann School in Bronx, New York. Pairs select a household product and examine its chemical structure and uses. To view a project, simply click on its link at left.
